Traffic Delays

Traffic delays of up to 20 minutes are expected on Trout Gulch Road adjacent to Valencia Street from 8/6/18 through 8/17/18 for paving operations.

Update March 30, 2018

Paving operations continue today on Trout Gulch Road.  Please note that road surfaces will be rough until final elevations are completed and there may be delays to the motoring public of up to 20 minutes during operations. 

 

 

Update January 5, 2018

Planned paving operations for this week completed a day ahead of schedule.  Railroad utility work continues today.

Update January 4, 2018

First course paving completed Wednesday.  Final course paving in progress including at Soquel Dr. / Trout Gulch Dr. intersection with long traffic delays expected.

Paving Operations Schedule (Subject to change for actual conditions and weather permitting.)

Tuesday – 7:00 AM start

Start grinding on Aptos St, move to Trout Gulch Rd, then Soquel Dr.  Patch pave may begin today.

Wednesday – Start time TBD, may be as early as 7 am (dependent on temperatures).

Patch pave and first course paving if weather allows as forecast updated with 80% chance of rain / thunderstorms.
